A Successful Low Budget Promotion
Posted by admin in personalized wristbands, promotional item on December 31, 2009
So, what does it take these days to create a low-budget successful promotional campaign? Well for starters you need the correct approach, regardless of your promotional item. How will you be giving these items out? More importantly, who will be recieving them?
A great low budget promotional item is silicone wristbands with your organizations website on them.
It’s important how you give these personalized wristbands out. They are essentially a really cool business card, only they won’t end up in the trash.
The idea is to get your potential customers hooked. Some will buy right on the spot, but others will need more time to think. For those that are heavily interested, why not give them a wristband with your website on it?

When you do this, they are likely to slip it on right away. Now instead of your information being in a trash can, it is on the wrist of your future customer. This is the approach we like to see.

Marketing can be expensive. However, creative marketing can be exactly the opposite and cost you very little. Meet your new best friend – personalized wristbands. You will be giving these wrist bands out for free, so it is important that they are in-expensive and produce results. How do these little things drive results?
Create A Theme
The first thing you need to do, if you haven’s already, is create a theme for your products. A simple design is not enough, because to your potential customer base that is just words (unless you have an amazing product than you can just print a website on the wristbands). Once you establish a deep root in what your brand/product is trying to convey than it’s easy to come up with a phrase to relate to that.
Time Pending
As you can see in the image above – it’s obviously based on a certain time frame. This is good for a few occasions. If the personalized wristbands are for a graduating class or a new years event then it works out perfect. However, if they are for a fundraiser i advise you think twice about putting a year. The reason is that you may have left overs and in that case will not be able to use them the next year due to the previous year being printed on them. It’s little things like this that will save you money
Give the wristbands out for Free? Seriously?
Um, YES! Throw your website, a clever saying, a logo on there, and BOOM – your good to go. This works well for bands as well because a lot of times all a band really needs to get across (besides great music) is where to find them socially on the web. A band/company name and a myspace would do you a whole lot better than just your company name. There needs to be the assumption that people like you, they definitely want free promo items, and they would be willing to see you again if they knew how. At events, both music and business wise, memories are created and people are met. It is your choice as an organization to either be part of that or to shy away.
